Johan Sverdrup project: Phase 1 and 2 of the onshore power plant at Haugsneset east of Kårstø

Equinor has awarded Aibel contracts for building phase 1 and 2 of the onshore power plant at Haugsneset. The contract is carried out in cooperation with Norconsult in Sandvika for detailed engineering of the actual building. Aibel itself is responsible for engineering of all technical disciplines.

Norconsult has in the different project phases for the two buildings and pump station also assisted Aibel within technical safety design, including fire safety, and has worked together as one team with technical safety personnel in Aibel, during FEED and detail engineering phases for the two projects. Phase 1 including pump station is already in operation. The project is still ongoing for phase 2 converter building.
