"Cookies" – or information capsules – is standard technology used by most web sites today. A cookie is a small text file that that is placed in your browser’s internal memory. This makes it possible for us to see statistics that can be used to improve our web site for our users. The most used browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.) are set up to receive cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings yourself so that cookies are not accepted. We would like to point out that many websites will not function optimally if you do not accept cookies.
As most web sites, we gather information automatically and store it in log files on our servers for a time period. This is information like what web browser you use, what broadband provider (ISP), operative system, date and time you visited and other web site statistics used to improve our web site. In some cases the information is also used to tailor marketing.
The information gathered will only be used internally and will not be transferred to any third party and/or other persons outside Norconsult. We never store information which could identify you personally.
Most web sites offer the option to block tracking cookies in the menu under "Settings".
