Norconsult acquires Track & Railway Technology Team from Projektengagemang

Norconsult enhances its skills in track and railway technology by acquiring the division of Projektengagemang that operates in this field. In all, 18 specialists will form part of Norconsult.

“Sustainable transport are essential if we are to meet our climate targets. Thus, railway skills will become even more important, and as we now have the chance to enhance in this field, we don’t want to miss the opportunity,” says Norconsult CEO Ljot Strömseng.

Norconsult set up its track and railway team in 2016. The team has grown to more than 35 employees spread across nine offices around Sweden. The Norconsult organization has the broad abilities and cutting-edge skills needed to take on railway assignments large and small. The ambition is to grow to win a greater number of interesting rail assignments. The new employees will bring new expertise to Norconsult such as ERTMS, and also afford Norconsult the opportunity to work with new customers.
