Steady growth and improved underlying profitability

In the fourth quarter of 2024, Norconsult continues to deliver steady growth and stable profitability. Net revenue amounted to NOK 2.5 billion, corresponding to an organic revenue growth adjusted for calendar effects of 7 percent from the same period in 2023. The growth is primarily due to an increase in the number of employees and increased average billing rates.

Norconsult's EBITA ended at NOK 227 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, up from NOK 209 million in the same period in 2023, while the EBITA margin ended at 9.1 percent. EBITA margin, considering calendar effects compared to the corresponding period in 2023, ended at 9.7 percent for the quarter.

For the full year, net revenue increased by 8 percent to NOK 9.2 billion, and the EBITA margin adjusted for calendar effects ended at 10.1 percent compared to 9.5 percent in the same period in 2023.

“The fourth quarter, as well as 2024, has been characterised by volatility in some of our markets and uncertain macroeconomics. Despite these challenges, we managed to perform well both when it comes to profitability and growth, thanks to our broad client portfolio, a good mix of public and private clients, and the excellent work of Norconsult's 6,500 employees every single day,” says Egil Hogna, CEO of Norconsult.
