Infrastructure consultants Norconsult and Moffatt & Nichol have announced a strategic partnership to support the development of Nordic offshore wind (OSW) ports. Moffatt & Nichol brings global expertise in OSW port master planning, logistics and operations, and dynamic simulation modelling, while Norconsult contributes with regional strength in infrastructure design and leading capabilities in port, coastal and marine engineering.
In its nascent phase, building a robust and competitive Nordic OSW marketplace requires the critical foundation of purpose-built ports to meet the industry’s specific needs. This partnership aims to accelerate the development of offshore wind port infrastructure across the Nordics, supporting the region’s transition to renewable energy.
