With 6,300 employees in a leading Nordic consulting company, Norconsult aims to further strengthen its HR function by having Marisa Ruiz Retamar join the executive management team. The change, effective from 1 October, will enhance the company's ability to meet future challenges and opportunities.

We have been highly impressed by the work Marisa has delivered over the past few years. To further advance this work, we have now decided that HR will be represented in the executive management team, says Egil Hogna, CEO of Norconsult.
HR Director at Norconsult since 2022
Ruiz Retamar has served as Norconsult’s HR Director since June 2022. Before joining Norconsult, Marisa was HR Director at the Education Agency of Oslo, and she also has several years of experience as Avinor’s HR leader.
-I am looking forward to joining the executive management team at Norconsult and contributing strategically to HR. Norconsult is, according to Universum, the most attractive employer in the industry among both experienced engineers and students. This is a position we aim to maintain and defend, says Ruiz Retamar, Group Director of HR at Norconsult.
Retamar has extensive experience in collaboration and negotiations with employee representatives. She is also a strategic HR leader who excels in transforming business needs into HR initiatives that improve performance, profitability and employee engagement in large, complex organisations.
